Hi there! My name is Mikkala, but I often go by Mikki. I am a proud graduate of the local university here in Bundaberg, Central Queensland University.

I chose Occupational Therapy as my profession for the opportunity to assist people live comfortably and safely within their own homes for as long as possible. Throughout my degree, I became highly interested in the prescription of assistive technology, particularly wheelchairs. It is important to me that people have the opportunity to participate in their desired activities.

Outside of work I like to surround myself with family, friends, and my two beautiful dogs. On special occasions my partner and I travel away to indulge in various fine dining experiences.
